After the marshal slows things down, the cowboys will join your group for dinner. Please note that the cowboys are typically only available on weekends.
Cocktail Trains are great for any size group. These rides can be customized to be simple or extravagant. Beer and wine are available as well as selected mixed drinks and seltzers. Food can range from light snacks (such as chips and veggies) to heavy hors d’oeuvres (finger sandwiches, small plates, desserts… almost anything you might think of).

The experience lasts about 90-minutes and provides passengers with a background on each type of drink or spirit served, and the best food pairing to go with it. The following tasting trains are currently offered. These are 21+ events only, except for our BRUNCH TRAIN.

Teachers can arrange to take their class on a fun filled and educational field trip where students not only get to learn about history but experience it. This train ride lasts approximately 1 hour, is narrated, and includes fun music! School field trip trains are offered on several different dates each year. No matter if you are part of a group of 200 first graders, or a home school group of 12, these trips are a great way to take the learning out of the classroom.
French Lick & West Baden was once known as the home to “America’s Laxative”. The Pluto Water slogan was “When nature wont, Pluto will.” At one point in time, 40-50 train cars were used to ship Pluto Water across the country. This “healing” water naturally contained sodium, magnesium sulfate, and lithium which produced a foul odor. This odor prompted people to say that the underworld couldn’t be far away.
Pluto, the Roman God of the Underworld became a staple symbol in our area. Ultimately, Pluto Water sales were stopped in 1971 when lithium became a controlled substance and was no longer allowed to be sold publicly. However, the Pluto symbol remains and can still be found in many areas locally.
